Did you discuss with the social worker the process and support available in case of the adoption being "disrupted" or "dissolved"?

An adoption is disrupted if it is interrupted before being finalized.

It is dissolved if it is reversed after being finalized.

Ideally social workers should be prepared to deal with such situations, and not take it as a personal failure… otherwise their response may be too emotional and not appropriate to the situation.

    If only I had asked myself these questions before I was rejected!
    And for something silly: inheritance is not considered revenue apparently!
